Al Rashid: Financing and investment opportunities; main topic of the SME's Forum
Chairman of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Rashed Al-Rashed said that the Economic Forum of SME's 2011 organized by the Chamber and Naseba Group during the period from 29 to 30 March 2011, corresponding to 24-25-1432 H at Chamber headquarter in Dammam will focus on attracting investment opportunities, and funding facilities and making them available to Small and medium enterprises.
In regard to the professional side, Al Rashed confirmed that the Forum will ensure spreading creativity to the owners of small and medium enterprises to be a tool for them to compete at the local and global level.
Al Rashed indicated that the forum will host speakers and experts whom will enrich the forum with their experinces during the discussion of the work environment and the local economic reality, pointing out that its activities will include workshops in cooperation with consulting firms specialized in providing expertise on financial management, feasibility studies and budgets, noting that the vision of the Forum focuses on reaching the creativity of small and medium enterprises as a strategy to survive to international firms.
And about its goals Al Rashid said: The objectives of the Forum concentrates in raising creative awareness to the SME's sector, in the Kingdom in general and in the Eastern Region in particular and to identify the most important obstacles facing the sector.
On the other hand, Asharqia Chamber Acting Secretary General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel said that the Scientific Committee of the SME's Economic Forum 2011 held its first meeting under the chairmanship of the Board member Khaled Amar Al Dosari an identified the features of the forum.
Al Wabel added that Chamber is keen through this forum to resolve the obstacle of funding, which is one of the most difficult obstacles faced by the young businessmen to start their business or expand and develop their project.
